Typhoon Ompong is expected to hit land at 1 a.m. Saturday in Baggao, Cagayan.
Cagayan, Northern Isabela, Apayao and Abra are under Signal No. 4.
The typhoon is moving northwest at 30 km/h. It still has maximum sustained winds of up to 205 kilometer per hour (kp/h) near the center and gustiness of up to 255 km/h.
Possible storm surges in Cagayan and Ilocos may rise up to 6 meters, and 2 meters in Isabela and Ilocos Sur.
