Security guard shot dead, run over while trying to stop holdup

A security guard died after being shot by a robber he was trying to stop, and then being run over a truck as he fell to the ground in Manila’s Tondo district Tuesday night. Police are trying to track down the robber who shot dead the guard initially identified as Nemencio Berzola, radio dzBB reported early Wednesday.
