Prosecution told: Be careful about media pronouncements

SENATE leaders cautioned the prosecution against making pronouncements to the media after Iloilo Representative Niel Tupas Jr., lead prosecutor, told the court before going to trial Thursday that they have documents for less than half of the 45 properties of Chief Justice Renato Corona.

“I am asking you, let’s be fair,” Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile told Tupas, after the congressman told Senator Francis Escudero that the prosecution has presented 21 land titles so far.
