Funeral services set for Iggy Arroyo

FUNERAL services will be held next week at the House of Representatives for Ignacio “Iggy” Arroyo, the Negros Occidental representative who died in London last week following a cardiac arrest.

House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. told reporters Thursday that the legal wife of Arroyo, Aleli, has sent her a text message inquiring about the funeral service.

“It’s not a question of allowing (her to come), it is her entitlement,” Belmonte said.
