Iggy Arroyo’s colleagues express condolences

THE House of Representatives expressed its condolences to the late Negros Occidental Representative Ignacio “Iggy” Arroyo through a resolution passed Monday night.

Arroyo, brother of former First Gentleman Jose Miguel “Mike” Arroyo, died of a liver ailment. He suffered cardiac arrest Thursday morning (Philippine time) and went into a coma when he was rushed to the hospital. After a few hours, life-support systems were removed from the congressman’s body.
