RH, FOI fail to make cut of House priority bills

ENACTMENT of the Reproductive Health (RH) and Freedom of Information (FOI) laws would have to wait another few months after the House leadership excluded both bills in its priority list before plenary session adjourns on March 21.

In a letter dated January 19, House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. listed 45 target priority measures to be approved by March. The list, however, identified only one House bill for approval on third reading – a measure seeking to regulate the practice of Geology.
