THE Senate has passed a proposed Cybercrime Prevention bill that will create government agencies that will focus on Internet-related crimes.

If the House of Representatives passes a counterpart bill and it is signed into law, an Office of Cybercrime will be created at the Justice department while the Department of Science and Technology will have a National Cyber Security Center.
