Llamas given until Wednesday to explain pirated DVD purchase

PRESIDENTIAL Adviser on Political Affairs Ronald Llamas was given until Wednesday to submit a report regarding his purchase of P2,000 worth of pirated video discs at a mall in Quezon City last week.

This is according to a memorandum issued by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. to Llamas, instructing him to explain in writing within five days of receipt why he should not be sanctioned administratively for his pirated DVD purchases.

Copies of the memorandum were distributed to the media by deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte at a press briefing on Monday.
