PAL mum on alleged ‘special privileges’ given to Corona

PHILIPPINE Airlines (PAL) has refused to comment on allegations that impeached Chief Justice Renato Corona received special privileges from the company while an illegal retrenchment case against it was pending before the Supreme Court.

Joey de Guzman, PAL vice president for corporate communications, made the statement on Monday after congressmen seeking Corona’s ouster hinted that the company reportedly gave “special treatment” to the Chief Justice and his wife Cristina.
