Earthquake in Laoag City
An Earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 on the Richter scale shook the Philippines on Tuesday afternoon. Seismologists confirmed that the earthquake occurred in the area off Ilocos Norte and could be felt in the region of northern Luzon as well.
The earthquake started around 3 pm today and residents in Pasuquin Town as well as in Laoag City in Ilocos Norte could feel the tremors with the intensity 2. This means, according to scientists at Phivolcs, that the earthquake can be felt by people resting inside their rooms, hanging objects might swing lightly and water containers will noticeably oscillate.
No aftershocks are expected for the earthquake which had it’s epicenter northeast of Laoag City.

people of laoag were really frightened this morning… you could really feel the intensity… it was followed by another earthquake at 7am but some people could not noticed it… Lets all continue to pray for our land… may God's Love protect us from this terrible calamities…
